Dr. Asim Ashique BSc(Hon), MSc, DC, FCCO(C) Chiropractic Specialist (Orthopedics)
Dr. Ashique has been in professional practice for over 23 years. He is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Before entering chiropractic college, Dr. Ashique attained two degrees from the University of Manitoba, a B.Sc. (Hons) in Genetics and an M.Sc. from the department of Human Genetics, Faculty of Medicine. He conducted cancer research with researchers at the Manitoba Institute of Cell Biology (Manitoba Cancer Foundation) and has authored or co-authored several publications, including two theses.
Dr. Ashique is a chiropractic specialist. He is a graduate of the Chiropractic Orthopedics Fellowship program, co-sponsored by the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (Toronto) and the National University of Health Sciences (Chicago). This is a demanding four-year specialty program that prepares chiropractors for work as specialists in their field. The discipline of Chiropractic Orthopedics involves advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of all physical injuries and pain conditions. Less than 1% of the chiropractors in Canada have this training. With 16 years of post-secondary education, he is currently one of the most highly trained chiropractors in the world.
Dr. Ashique has a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and represented Manitoba at the 1992 Olympic Team trials in Toronto. Him and his staff love helping others. They are committed to helping their community achieve greater health through methods that are effective and scientific, yet conservative and non-invasive (chiropractic care).
